Broccoli Cauliflower Salad

– 4 cups broccoli florets

– 4 cups cauliflower florets

– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

– 1/2 cup diced red onion

– 1/2 cup diced red bell pepper

– 1/2 cup mayonnaise

– 1/4 cup sour cream

– 2 tablespoons white vinegar

– 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

– Salt and black pepper to taste

– Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Steam or blanch the broccoli and cauliflower florets until they are tender-crisp. Drain and let them cool.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked broccoli and cauliflower with shredded cheddar cheese, diced red onion, and diced red bell pepper.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, white vinegar, granulated sugar, salt, and black pepper to make the dressing.
Pour the dressing over the salad and toss to coat all the ingredients evenly.
