Ingredients:
For the Steak Bites:
1 lb sirloin steak (or your preferred cut)
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: 1 teaspoon garlic powder
For the Garlic Butter:
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
3-4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried parsley)
Optional: A squeeze of lemon juice
Instructions:
Prepare the Steak:
Cut the steak into bite-sized cubes (about 1 inch).
Season the steak bites with salt, pepper, and garlic powder (if using).
Cook the Steak Bites:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Once hot, add the steak bites in a single layer (you may need to do this in batches). Cook for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness (medium-rare is around 130°F/54°C).
Remove the steak bites from the skillet and set aside.
Make the Garlic Butter:
In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium. Add the butter and let it melt.
Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute, until fragrant. Be careful not to let it burn.
Stir in the chopped parsley and optional lemon juice.
Combine:
Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss them in the garlic butter until evenly coated. Cook for another minute to heat through.
Serve:
Remove from heat and serve immediately, garnished with extra parsley if desired.
These steak bites are perfect as an appetizer, on a salad, or served with your favorite sides. Enjoy!
