Ingredients:

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 cup olive oil

1/4 cup onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup dry white wine

1/2 cup chicken broth

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

1/4 cup lime juice

1 tbsp butter

Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions:

1.Season and Dredge the Shrimp:

Season the shrimp with salt and pepper.

Dredge the shrimp in the all-purpose flour, shaking off any excess.

2.Sauté the Shrimp:

Heat 1/4 cup olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until cooked through and slightly golden.

Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

3.Cook the Aromatics:

In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and minced garlic.

Sauté for 2-3 minutes until softened and fragrant.

4.Add the Liquids:

Stir in the white wine and chicken broth.

Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for about 5 minutes, allowing the liquid to reduce by half.

5.Make the Lime Sauce:

Stir in the fresh parsley, lime juice, and butter.

Simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

6.Return the Shrimp:

Add the cooked shrimp back to the skillet.

Cook for 1 minute until the shrimp are heated through and well-coated with the sauce.

7.Serve:

Serve the shrimp piccata with the lime sauce over pasta, rice, or your favorite side dish.

Enjoy this zesty and flavorful meal! ❤
