Ingredients:

2 tbsp olive oil
1 medium onion, diced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 red bell pepper, diced
1 celery stalk, diced
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
1/2 cup dry white wine
1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
2 cups seafood stock
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp dried thyme
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Seafood:
8 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
8 mussels, cleaned
8 clams, cleaned
1/2 lb firm white fish (e.g., cod or halibut), cut into chunks
For Serving:
Fresh parsley, chopped
Crusty bread slices
Instructions:
Prepare the Base:
Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, red bell pepper, and celery. Sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
Build the Flavor:
Stir in red pepper flakes, white wine, crushed tomatoes, and seafood stock. Add oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 20 minutes to blend flavors.
Cook the Seafood:
Add fish chunks to the pot and simmer for 5 minutes.
Add mussels and clams, cover, and cook for 5 minutes or until they open.
Add shrimp and cook for another 3-4 minutes, until pink and cooked through. Discard any unopened shells.
