Christmas Cream Cheese Mints

Ingredients:
8 oz cream cheese, softened
2 tbsp butter, softened
8 cups powdered sugar, plus extra for rolling
1 ½ tsp peppermint extract
Red and green gel food coloring
1 tbsp Christmas-colored sprinkles (I used Jimmies)
Directions:
In a large bowl, mix the softened cream cheese and butter until smooth and creamy.
Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing well after each addition until you form a smooth dough.
Add peppermint extract and divide dough into three equal parts.
Leave one part white, add red food coloring to the second, and green to the third, mixing each until the color is even.
Roll each color into small balls, then gently flatten with a fork. Sprinkle with Christmas-colored sprinkles for a festive touch!
Let mints dry on wax paper for a few hours until firm.
