2 cups whole milk

1 cup heavy whipping cream

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Layering:

2 cups crushed chocolate cookies (like Oreo cookies) or graham crackers

Chocolate shavings or mini chocolate chips (for garnish)

Instructions

Make the Chocolate Pudding:

In a medium saucepan, whisk together the sugar, cocoa powder, cornstarch, and salt.

Gradually add the milk, whisking until smooth.

Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and comes to a gentle boil (about 5-7 minutes).

Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and butter until smooth. Allow to cool slightly.

Prepare the Whipped Cream:

In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.

Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, and continue whipping until stiff peaks form.

Assemble the Dessert:

In a large glass dish or individual serving cups, start with a layer of crushed cookies or graham crackers at the bottom.

Add a layer of chocolate pudding on top, smoothing it out evenly.

Next, add a layer of whipped cream.

Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of whipped cream on top.

Chill:
