Ingredients:
– 8 slices of bread
– 1/4 cup butter, softened
– 1 lb ground beef
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon onion powder
– 8 slices cheddar cheese
– 8 slices American cheese
– 1/2 cup ketchup
– 1/4 cup mustard
– Pickles, lettuce, and tomato for serving
Instructions:
1. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it apart with a spatula. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cook until browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat and set aside.
2. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
3. Place a slice of bread butter side down in a separate skillet over medium heat. Add a slice of cheddar cheese, cooked ground beef, a drizzle of ketchup and mustard, a slice of American cheese, and another slice of bread on top, butter side up.
4. Cook until the bottom bread is golden brown and the cheese is starting to melt. Carefully flip the sandwich and cook until the other side is golden brown and the cheese is fully melted.
5. Repeat with the remaining ingredients to make more sandwiches.
6. Serve the cheeseburger grilled cheese with pickles, lettuce, and tomato on the side.
