INGREDIENTS:
20-25 grapes, washed and completely dried
2 cups white sugar
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup light corn syrup
White gel food coloring
Other gel colors of your choice (neon pink and sky blue suggested)
2 teaspoons flavored oil (e.g., vanilla or citrus)
Sprinkles for decorating (optional)
DIRECTIONS:
Prep: Insert a skewer into each grape and set aside.
Cook: In a saucepan, combine sugar, water, and corn syrup. Cook over medium to high heat until the mixture reaches 300°F (149°C), using a candy thermometer to monitor.
Color: Remove from heat and stir in white gel food coloring and flavored oil. Add 3-4 drops of other colors and swirl.
Coat: Dip grapes into the mixture, allowing excess to drip off. Optionally, roll in sprinkles.
Dry: Place on parchment paper or a silicone mat to dry for 15 minutes, or refrigerate for 10 minutes.
