Ingredients:
1 box brownie mix (and ingredients listed on the box, typically eggs, oil, and water)
2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
Optional toppings: chocolate chips, caramel drizzle, or crushed nuts
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
Prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions and pour the batter into the prepared pan.
In a medium bowl, beat softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
Add eggs one at a time to the cream cheese mixture, beating well after each addition.
Gently pour or spoon the cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter, spreading it evenly to create two distinct layers.
Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the cream cheese layer is set and a toothpick inserted into the brownie layer comes out with a few crumbs.
Allow to cool completely before slicing into bars. Add optional toppings if desired.
