Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1/2 lb cooked bacon, crumbled
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup BBQ sauce (plus extra for serving)
Directions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.
Make the Meatball Mixture:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, crumbled bacon, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, chopped green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
Form the Meatballs:
Scoop about 2 tablespoons of the meat mixture and roll into a ball. Place the meatballs on the prepared baking sheet. Continue until all the meat mixture is used up.
Add the Cheese:
Using your thumb, create a small indent in the center of each meatball. Place a small amount of shredded cheddar cheese into the indent, then cover it with the surrounding meat to seal the cheese inside.
Bake the Meatballs:
Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until fully cooked through and golden brown on the outside.
Add BBQ Sauce:
Once the meatballs are done, drizzle BBQ sauce over each one and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes to let the sauce set.
Serve:
Serve your BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger Meatballs hot with extra BBQ sauce on the side. Enjoy these savory, cheesy meatballs that bring all the flavors of a classic cheeseburger!
