Ingredients
For the Dough:
1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
8 slices of cooked bacon, crumbled
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
For the Filling:
8 small cubes of mozzarella cheese (about 1-inch cubes)
8 small cubes of cheddar cheese (about 1-inch cubes)
For the Topping:
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Additional crumbled bacon (optional)
Instructions
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Prepare the Dough:
Open the can of biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Flatten each biscuit into a round, about 1/4-inch thick.
Place a cube of mozzarella and a cube of cheddar in the center of each flattened biscuit.
Sprinkle some of the crumbled bacon over the cheese cubes.
Form the Cheese Bombs:
Fold the edges of the dough up and around the filling, pinching the seams together tightly to seal. Make sure the cheese is fully enclosed.
Roll each dough ball in your hands to smooth the seams and form a round ball.
Add the Toppings:
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with the garlic powder. Brush each dough ball with the garlic butter mixture.
Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the top of each dough ball.
Bake the Cheese Bombs:
Place the prepared dough balls on the lined baking sheet, seam-side down.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.
Serve:
Remove the cheese bombs from the oven and let them cool slightly.
Optionally, garnish with additional crumbled bacon and chopped parsley.
Serve warm and enjoy the gooey, cheesy goodness!
