Bacon Tortellini Alfredo – creamy, cheesy perfection!

INGREDIENTS:

1 lb cheese tortellini
8 slices of bacon, chopped
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

DIRECTIONS:

Cook the Bacon:
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy, about 6-8 minutes. Remove the bacon from the skillet and set aside, leaving a small amount of bacon drippings in the skillet.

Cook the Tortellini:
While the bacon is cooking, prepare the tortellini according to the package directions. Drain and set aside.

Make the Alfredo Sauce:
In the same skillet with the bacon drippings, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, then cook for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens.

Combine the Tortellini and Bacon:
Add the cooked tortellini to the skillet, tossing to coat in the creamy Alfredo sauce. Add the cooked bacon and stir to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve:
Serve your Bacon Tortellini Alfredo hot, garnished with fresh parsley for a burst of color and flavor. Enjoy this indulgent dish with your loved ones!
